Time flies!
No one could ever imagine that an IB manager at a bank, working around the clock last year now become a beauty queen!
In 2017, not long after my graduation, I was entrusted to be an investment banking manager. As I was the youngest among the IB managers with not much experience, I had to make more effort so as to have my clients get the best solution for their business. I spent most of my time working at the office table, running excel model with bunch of paperwork around me, to the point that I almost forgot a dream of my childhood – to become Miss Universe Thailand.
I still remember the day when I decided to follow my dream. Being in one accord, voices around me were “You’d better be an IB manager as you are now; the mission is too IMPOSSIBLE.” After taking time to ponder, however, I found that the childhood dream was still alive and active. So I listened to my heart, and started taking that very new journey, joining Miss Universe Thailand Pageant 2018, despite the fact that a lot of obstacles, including criticism were there along the way. To be honest, I had a fear of failure; however, I was honest to the dream of my childhood – at least I had tried. Who could ever think that, at the end of the day, the dream came true!
Do not be afraid to dream. Do not let fear lock the little voice but strong in your heart. Dream it, dare it, and do it. Your destiny will never be too impossible for you.
